An honest answer on what a children’s party costs in London, from a company that has been planning them since 1977.
Most people asking this want three things at once: the least they might spend, what a proper party costs, and what they are actually paying for. Here is all three, plainly. Every price below is a starting price — a “from” — because no two parties are the same, and your quotation is built around yours.
The short answer
A Twizzle party starts from £180 on weekdays and from £295 at weekends, depending on the entertainer. A fully produced party — where we design it, staff it, dress the room, arrange the catering and clear it all away — starts from around £1,000, and a full bespoke afternoon from around £2,500.
All of it is Twizzle. It is simply a question of how much you would like us to take off your hands.
What each level includes
An entertainer, or an entertainment package — from £180
You have the venue, or you are at home, and the food is in hand. What you want is for the children to be genuinely, memorably entertained by someone who knows how to hold a room of that age. Our packages begin from £180 on a weekday and from £295 at a weekend, and rise with the theme, the length and the number of children.

A fully produced party — from £1,000
This is the one most of our clients choose. You give us the date and a sense of what you have in mind, and everything after that is ours: design, theming, performers, catering, styling, the running order on the day and the clearing up afterwards. A full afternoon with bespoke theming, two theatre-trained entertainers, catering, styling and a pack-down team starts from around £2,500.
Above that
Marquee weekends, milestone celebrations for adults and full productions are quoted individually, because no two are alike. Tell us what you are imagining and we will price it properly.
What changes the cost of a children’s party
The number of children, first and foremost — more children means more performers, and the ratio is what keeps every child safe and included. Whether it falls on a weekday or a weekend — weekends start higher. How long you would like it to run. Whether we are entertaining or producing the whole event. And catering, styling and the venue — food, cake, flowers, props and a hired space are where a lovely party becomes a memorable one, and where the budget follows.
A few practical answers
We recommend booking around twelve weeks ahead, and sooner for weekend and peak-season dates, which go first.
A deposit secures your date, and the full details are set out in your written quotation.
Is Twizzle expensive?
Compared with a single entertainer booked for an hour, we are more. Compared with the London market for produced children’s events, we sit where you would expect a company with the best part of fifty years of theatre behind it: not the cheapest, and not the dearest.
What you are paying for is that our performers are theatre-trained rather than hobbyists, that we have been doing this since 1977, and that we are trusted by HRH, by A-list families and by parents for whom discretion is not a preference but a requirement. Just look at our client list.
