Twizzle in Fulham

Bishop's Park by the Thames

Across Putney Bridge from our SW14 studio — planning parties for Fulham families since 1977.

Fulham is a short drive from our studio and a long list of recurring clients. A lot of our Fulham work is for families who live in the streets between Parsons Green and the river, or in the houses lining Bishop’s Park, or off the New King’s Road. We know the postcodes well enough to know which gardens will fit a marquee, which streets will accept a delivery van on a Saturday morning, and which estate agents’ photos are generously angled. Forty-odd years of planning parties in SW6 will do that.

The Fulham brief

Most of our Fulham parties are Saturday-afternoon home events for children aged three to ten — the classic fifteen-to-forty-child garden party, with a theme, food the grown-ups will eat, and a team who leaves the kitchen cleaner than they found it. We also get asked for a lot of end-of-term and milestone teen parties; Fulham teenagers want something grown-up but not pretentious, and Fulham parents want something controlled but not boring. Adult milestones here lean toward the polished-dinner-party end of the spectrum rather than the nightclub end, which suits us.

Venues and settings we already know

Home events dominate — Fulham gardens punch above their weight for parties if you know what you’re doing with them, and we do. Bishop’s Park is genuinely useful for treasure hunts and larger outdoor play events when permissions are in place. Hurlingham Club members sometimes host there (we know the drill for members’ events). Parsons Green itself and the pubs around it have private rooms we’ve used dozens of times. Fulham Palace, for families who want something historic for a milestone, takes private hire and we’ve delivered events there too.

What it costs, roughly

A Tiny Tots Discovery Party for under-threes starts at £300. Most Fulham children’s parties come in between £1,000 and £3,500, depending on guest numbers, theming and catering. A full afternoon with bespoke theming, two entertainers, catering, styling and staff is typically £2,500 to £3,500. Larger garden parties, Fulham Palace events and milestone teen or adult celebrations start above that. We quote honestly at the first call, and we don’t change the number later.

Why Fulham families come back

Because we’re local, not some national chain that farms you out to a freelancer the week before. Because our entertainers are theatre-trained and DBS-checked. Because we’ve been doing this since punk was new, and there aren’t many Fulham party briefs left that can surprise us. And because when you need a pack-down at nine on a Sunday morning before the cleaners arrive at ten, we’re the ones who’ll actually be there.

Frequently asked questions

How much notice do you need for a Fulham party?

Four to eight weeks is ideal. Saturdays in SW6 go quickly between April and July — lock in a date early if you can. Shorter-notice briefs are possible; call us and we’ll be straight about what’s realistic.

Do you cover Parsons Green, Chelsea Harbour and Putney?

Yes — plus Hammersmith, Battersea’s edges, and everything between Fulham Palace Road and the New King’s Road. Our studio is a quick drive across Putney Bridge.

Can you run an event at Bishop’s Park?

Yes, with Hammersmith & Fulham Council permissions for organised activities. We handle the permit process and plan around the park’s specific rules for the area you want to use.

What does a typical Fulham home party look like?

Fifteen to forty children, a themed garden or house adventure, two entertainers, catering the parents will actually eat, and a pack-down team who leaves the house tidier than they found it. Most Saturdays this is what we’re setting up somewhere in SW6.
