Twizzle in Mayfair

Mayfair street at twilight

Discreet, meticulously planned celebrations for Mayfair families and private clients.

Most of our Mayfair work is the sort we don’t talk about. Clients take us on because we deliver to a standard and because we don’t talk afterwards, and neither of those things comes across well on a marketing page. We’ve spent most of the last five decades quietly planning private events in W1 — birthdays in apartments above Mount Street and Berkeley Square, dinners in houses off Park Lane, milestone celebrations at residences within walking distance of Hyde Park. We work with families whose names are public and families whose names are very firmly not, and the brief, in both cases, is generally the same.

The Mayfair brief

Families here want three things. They want quality at a level that doesn’t need to be pointed out. They want absolute discretion — no photographs, no social media, no supplier leaking the address. And they want the day itself to run without anyone in the family having to manage a single thing. The logistics are complex: Mayfair is full of mansion blocks with lift restrictions, concierge teams, parking rules and residents’ committees, and a planner who doesn’t already know all of it is going to cause problems before the balloons arrive.

Venues and settings

Home events are the majority of our Mayfair work. We know how to handle mansion-block logistics, concierge liaison, and the standard Mayfair residents’ association stipulations. For larger private events, we’ve worked with families at Mayfair hotels’ private suites, at venues around Berkeley Square and Grosvenor Square, at private members’ clubs where the family holds membership, and at private dining rooms in restaurants where the staff already know us. For children’s events, a Mayfair home is often a more suitable setting than a public venue, and we’ve built themed environments inside apartments that parents had assumed were too tight for anything more than a cake.

What Mayfair events cost

Children’s parties in Mayfair typically start at £2,500 and run to £10,000+ for larger, private-venue or full-theming events. Milestone teen and adult celebrations and private-venue hire sit across a much wider range depending on guest numbers, catering standard, entertainment and staffing — seven- and sometimes six-figure events are not unusual for the families we serve. A Tiny Tots Discovery Party for under-threes starts at £300 if the brief is smaller. We quote clearly and early, and we don’t change numbers later.

Why Mayfair families choose us

Because our staff sign confidentiality as a default, not on request. Because we are not on social media asking for tags or testimonials. Because the founder of the company is still the person you will speak to first, and often the person on site. Because we have been at this since 1977, and there are very few Mayfair problems — logistical, social, or otherwise — we haven’t already seen and quietly solved.

Frequently asked questions

How much notice do you need for a Mayfair event?

Six to twelve weeks for larger events and private-venue hires; shorter for discrete home parties. Mayfair mansion blocks, hotels and private members’ clubs often book out months in advance, so the earlier we start, the better your options.

Do you handle mansion-block and concierge logistics?

Yes. Lift access rules, concierge liaison, delivery-window restrictions, residents’ association sign-offs, and back-of-house access routes are all standard parts of a Mayfair brief. We handle all of it so you don’t have to.

Is everything confidential?

Always. Every member of our team signs confidentiality as default, not on request. We do not name clients publicly, we do not post events on our own social media without explicit permission, and we work routinely with families whose presence in London is not a matter of public record.

Do you cover Marylebone, Knightsbridge and Belgravia?

Yes — we work across the whole of W1, SW1X, SW3 and SW1W. Most of our Mayfair clients also own or rent nearby, and we plan in the neighbourhoods that suit the event.
