New entertainment this year will include a street dance workshop, face painting and the Bugs Squad from the Bloomsbury Research Institute. Plus there will be tea and cakes all afternoon!
St George’s Garden’s is almost 300 years old and a little piece of hidden history. A central London garden and burial ground it contains the resting place of Oliver Cromwell’s grand daughter, is the site of the first case of body-snatching and more recently a sensory garden was created for the enjoyment of those with impaired vision and other disabilities.
There is more to explore, entertain and learn. So come and have some fun this afternoon, wander the gardens, say hi to Punch and Judy, and enjoy a truly English garden party.
