We all love social media, with most of us glued to our phones, tablets, or computers for a lot of our free time. From updating our friends on big life events, sharing memes, or documenting our entire day, it’s hard to remember what life was like before we carried tiny computers around in our pockets.

Back in the 90s, when owning a computer at home was first becoming more mainstream we used the internet very differently to how we do now, but what would social media platforms have looked like in the 1990s if they’d been around then? We’ve mocked up our interpretation of what it could have been like.
